In 2014, I was brand new to wedding photography and desperate to become A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER. While I had lots of technical camera knowledge and an artistic eye, I knew NOTHING about the wedding photography industry. So, I emailed about 5 million DC wedding photographers to try and get experience second shooting. I got LOTS of no’s, but when I finally got one yes, I learned a vital lesson that led me to go full time WAY faster than I expected! And trust me – it’s not what you’re expecting!
